Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and IS Dev(“we”, “us”) for the use of Layer (the Android app studio.collage.collageapp, “the app”). By installing or using the app you accept them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Who may use the app

You must be at least 13 years old, or older if your country requires it, and able to enter into a binding contract. If you are a minor under local law, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms on your behalf.

2. Licence to use the app

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the app on devices you control. You may not copy, sell, rent, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except where that restriction is prohibited by law.

3. Your content

The photos and text you put into a collage are yours and stay yours. The app processes them on your device; we do not receive, store or claim any rights over them. You are responsible for having the rights to the material you use, and for not creating content that is illegal or that infringes someone else’s rights.

4. Templates, frames and stickers

The templates, frames, stickers and other artwork supplied with the app remain our property or that of our licensors. You may use them to create collages and publish or sell the resulting images, including commercially. You may not redistribute, resell or sublicense the raw assets themselves, or use them to build a competing template library.

5. Layer Pro subscription

• Some templates, frames, stickers and fonts are marked Pro and require an active Layer Pro subscription. Everything else is free to use.
• The subscription is offered on a recurring basis (for example monthly or yearly). The exact plans, prices and billing periods are the ones shown in the app at the moment of purchase, in your local currency and including applicable taxes.
• Payment is charged to your Google Play account on confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Renewal is charged within 24 hours of the end of the current period.
• You can cancel or change the plan at any time in Google Play → Subscriptions, or through the “Manage subscription” link in the app’s settings. Cancelling stops future charges; you keep Pro access until the end of the period already paid for.
• Refunds are handled by Google Play under its own policy, plus any statutory right of withdrawal you have under consumer law (in Brazil, the seven-day right of regret under the Código de Defesa do Consumidor; in the EU/UK, the equivalent cancellation right).
• We may change prices or the contents of the Pro plan. Changes take effect at the next renewal and are notified in advance as required by Google Play and by law; you may cancel before they apply.
• Free trials or promotional offers, when available, convert into a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use the app to break the law, to infringe intellectual property or privacy rights, to create harassing, hateful or sexually exploitative material involving minors, or to interfere with, overload or circumvent the security of our servers or the purchase verification that gates Pro features.

7. Availability and changes

We may update, change or discontinue features of the app, including individual templates or assets. We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation; the catalog is served over the internet and may be temporarily unreachable.

8. Disclaimer

Except for the guarantees that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law, the app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. Your projects and exports live on your device — keeping backups of images that matter to you is your responsibility.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost data or lost profits. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the event. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or anything else that cannot be limited by law — including your rights as a consumer.

10. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these terms, in particular the acceptable use section.

11. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms. The effective date above reflects the current version, and continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it. Material changes affecting an active subscription will be notified before they apply.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live. Google is not a party to this agreement and is not responsible for the app.
